GLOBAL PRICING MANAGER
We are looking for a talented Global Pricing Manager to join our team in Nashville, TN. The Global Pricing Manager is responsible for the oversight, management, and communication of confidential customer pricing program information and pricing systems. They also manage the department in which pricing policies and programs are implemented.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Identifies opportunities for strategic analysis and develops the necessary analytical reports to help guide pricing decisions; manages pricing annual operating plan budget. Provides leadership to troubleshoot issues, proactively identify internal and external customer challenges, streamline work flows, and provide solutions and improvements to pricing decision tools and processes; resolves escalated issues on the execution of pricing and price realization.
- Develops and executes pricing processes and guidelines; manages pricing recommendations process on new product pricing and price changes. Leads the development of the product or market segmentation strategy to set price by segment.
- Provides leadership pricing expertise to drive overall strategic pricing direction; interacts with other functional areas to drive pricing performance; tracks and measures performance.
- Manages adherence to pricing policies and strategies including margin targets; leads and plans external and internal training; facilitates communication and sharing of best practices.
- Participates in pricing strategy setting and aligns pricing strategies with the overall business unit strategy. Represents Pricing on cross-functional projects; drives various pricing analytical projects such as competitive product, market assessments, commodity costs indices, etc.
- Coaches and motivates Pricing Analysts; provides guidance and direction on problems and issues; delegates works assignments considering employee skills and development needs, as required.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- at least 8 years of experience, degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related subject required.
- Leads strategic pricing for Cummins Filtration globally across first fit and aftermarket lines of business. Sets a pricing vision by working with pricing and commercial teams globally. Experienced in working in a matrixed organization.
- Capable of balancing strategy with execution. Collaborates cross-functionally to develop terms and conditions that enables growth and improves margins.
- Lead business development and revenue model improvement initiatives managing and leveraging core competencies in financial modeling, project planning, project prioritization, stakeholder impact assessment, pricing, analytics, and problem-solving. Driven to identify pricing leakages and opportunities to improve pricing practices.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
