We are looking for a talented Quality Technician to join our team specializing in Quality for our Engine Business Segment in Rocky Mount, NC.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Respond to issues, in production or external, that impact Quality.
- Provides Step 1-3 in the 7 Step problem solving process.
- Supports campaign activities and production issues as requested.
- Support quality glidepath initiatives.
To be successful in this role:
- Requires significant relevant work experience, specialized skills obtained through education, training, and on-the-job experience.
- Line-Calls,EMCR for Equipment Down, MCR's for Step3's (Internal), DMA Cart, Additional Campaign Support
- Coordinate team of first responders to line calls andequipment issues.
- Investigate production issues and communicate findings tonecessary parties to drive resolution.
- Lead cross-functional meetings for emerging internal issues.
- Coordinate with other quality teams as necessary to ensureproper containment is implemented for internal issues.
- Ensure that discrepant material is dispositioned accordingto DMA process.
- Coordinate with Major Repair team for scrap disposition.
- Submit lab work orders for internal suspect nonconformingmaterial.
- Proficiency needed in Excel, Power-point, Word, and DataAnalysis.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
