We are looking for a talented Product Functional Testing Technician to join our team for our location in Stoughton, WI.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Builds, repairs and prepares articles for testing and associated auxiliary equipment.
- Installs test article into test structure (test cell, table, rig, etc.).
- Performs tests in accordance with set test methods.
- Consistently provides accurate and reliable test results.
- Has an in-depth understanding of the function on of the test equipment used to perform test and the contribution of the test equipment to the validity of the test results.
- Configures and operates data acquisition systems; analyzes and reviews data for appropriateness.
- Has an in-depth understanding of the functioning of the product under test to assess the contribution of the product to the validity of the test results.
- Performs test stand installation, troubleshooting and setups, and the upkeep and maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Provides support/recommendations to engineering for equipment supplier evaluation and qualification, equipment and facility updates and instrument specification
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
- A regionally applicable Certification (e.g. US Department of Labor) or two-year Associate's Degree from an accredited college program in a relevant field of study.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
- Perform routine and complex maintenance, troubleshooting, minor repairs, and assembly of mechanical/electrical testing systems
- Perform routine and complex maintenance, troubleshooting, minor repairs, and assembly of pneumatic and hydraulic systems on laboratory equipment
- Fundamental understanding of Data Acquisition (DAQ) principals
- Understands testing equipment control logic (analog and digital signals)
- Timely delivery of walk-in requests from internal customers
- Action-oriented, taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
- Base understanding of filtration products and their applications
- Champion Safety within the Laboratory by maintaining workspaces according to the 5S methodology and completing of Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Health Identification Risk Assessments (HIRA), and Lock Out Tag Out(LOTO) procedures
- Decommission test stands following applicable laws regarding the disposal of electrical equipment and chemicals.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
