We are looking to add an experienced, motivated Full-Time Food Safety Specialist to our healthcare team in Pineville, LA. As a Food Safety Specialist for Cura Hospitality, you will have the opportunity to directly oversee the production, safety, and service of meals.
What you'll be doing:
- Providing hands-on supervision and oversight for the preparation, cooking, and portioning of meals, following company recipes based on daily needs and contractual obligations.
- Ensuring all meals meet standards for quality.
- Ensure proper food handling.
- Ensure proper sanitization standards.
- Provide training as needed to meet ServSafe safety standards.
- Maintain and manage food storage procedures.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Must-haves:
- Experience supervising multiple employees.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and service knowledge.
- Active ServSafe certification.
- An advanced degree in culinary arts or a related field.
