What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Svcs Aide Handler position at Curahealth Stoughton LLC?
POSITION PURPOSE
Involved in all aspects of daily kitchen functioning including food receiving, storage, stocking, safety/sanitation, and preparation. Performs a variety of duties related to patient meal assembly, delivery, and collection of patient trays. Involved in functioning of the cafeteria, including serving and cashier duties. Clerical duties as assigned.

Required Licenses or Certifications
- Food Handlers permit if required per state regulations
Education, Training and Experience
- One year of experience in hospital food service, including food preparation and serving, is preferred. Knowledge of therapeutic diets strongly desired.

- Ability to maintain good working relations with other hospital employees
- Ability to set priorities and complete job responsibilities within a timely manner
- Ability to provide direction to others that is clear, concise, and promotes efficiency
- Considerable initiative and judgment involved in planning and directing procedures in nutrition processes
- Ability to interact in a positive manner and communicate well with patients, families, co-workers, supervisor, and other hospital employees
- Reviews and follows policies and procedures, authoring new policies as needed

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to reach, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl, grasp, use fine finger movement
