SUMMARY
AllyAlign Health seeks an outgoing and driven individual with sales experience to join our expanding Medicare Advantage sales team. The Medicare Benefit Consultant is a field-based position charged with enrolling Medicare beneficiaries, residing in a skilled nursing or assisted living facility, into the Special Needs Plans (SNPs). Sales and enrollment activities will be performed from your home office and onsite at senior living facilities. The Agent role reports to the Regional Sales Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Your licensed and appointment will be captive through AllyAlign
- Effectively articulate our Model of Care to potential enrollees
- Facilitate enrollment efforts in each contracted location according to a specified marketing plan
- Conduct Plan training sessions with community staff to drive sales efforts
- Coordinate and facilitate events to generate leads
- Develop and manage account specific strategies to educate and engage facility personnel, resulting in the generation of interested residents and/or families (responsible parties)
- Utilize traditional sales strategies to uncover needs and introduce features and benefits of the plan
- Generate enrollments consistent with targets established for the territory
- Document all activity to ensure compliance with Medicare Marketing Guidelines
- Provide excellent customer sales experience
- Excellent communication skills coupled with the capability to multi-task through several different automation systems is required for the candidate to be successful in the role
- Overcome customer objections and compete with yourself and other agents to succeed and hit goals
- Resolve customer service inquiries which could include:
- Benefit and Eligibility information
- Billing and Payment issues
- Ability to use or quickly adapt to CRM programs and other related computer programs
- Possess strong verbal communication skills including the ability to handle objections
- Build positive work relationship with internal and external partners to enhance the image and public perception of our health plan
- Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving sales objectives
- Competitive personality and self-motivation
EDUCATION
- Minimum requirement Associate Degree
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 years of sales experience analyzing and identifying customer needs
- Sales experience in a B2C or B2B setting or experience working in a skilled nursing facility
- Appropriate state insurance licensure within 30 days of hire date or the ability to obtain
- Ability to maintain licensure and product certification based on policies and procedures
- Maintain a state drivers license or arrange for transportation in the field
- Health License in your state of residence
- Demonstrated experience meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Demonstrated account management skills (including planning, documentation, and measurement)
- Ability to travel 90% throughout the designated local territory
California Residents: The salary range is $60,000-$70,000 base and is eligible for commission. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Curana Health offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, 401K, flexible PTO, paid holidays (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
