Muskogee Oklahoma: Emergency Medicine

Dates needed: March - ongoing

Schedule: 3 types of shifts per day; 12 hour shifts

Patient Ages: All Ages

Volume: 32,500 annually; 90 ppd across all shifts

Cases: level IV trauma facility emergency medicine cases

Procedures: ABGs, A-lines, c-lines, chest tubes, arthrocentesis, intubation, closed reduction fracture, foreign body removal, incision and drainage, nerve block, resuscitation, defibrillation, etc.

Support Staff: 1 other MD for part of shift; 2 APP shifts per day; RNs

Charting: EPIC

Credentialing Timeframe: 3-4 months
