About You
You are an organized, motivated individual who can quickly grasp the business needs of an application and is passionate about making sure those needs are met! Our scope of testing includes a growing custom built application, a CRM, and a telephony instance that all must work together in harmony. We need an experienced QA analyst who can collaborate with product and engineering to understand critical and new features, build out comprehensive test plans, and make sure that our releases are successful and our bug counts go down!
You’ll be part of a team working to solve problems like:
- Increasing the number of patients who receive the opportunity to do a medication reconciliation, which can help keep them out of the hospital.
- Streamlining and automating processes so that our pharmacists can serve as many patients as possible.
- Building out user experiences that allow our pharmacists to make the most of data and insights that will help them be as effective as possible in serving patients.
What You’ll Do:
- Work as a scrum team member to iterate on improving the clinical user experience, participating in story authoring, sizing, and demo sessions.
- Work with product managers and engineers to understand expectations of new functionality and develop comprehensive test plans to verify that new functionality works as expected.
- Test developed features and functionality against test plans.
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to develop a regression testing plan for testing all critical features for the clinical user experience.
- Perform regression testing for new releases to ensure new features are successfully integrated into existing work.
- Perform smoke testing after releases to verify all is working as expected.
- Identify product defects and submit detailed tickets so engineers can work to resolve them.
- Work with Product and Engineering leadership to iterate and improve on our testing strategies.
Your Skills:
- 7 years of professional experience in a QA environment
- Strong analytical thinking; ability to take broad ideas and fill in the details, quickly understanding potential points of failure.
- Experience testing complex multi-system software from UI to database
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python and Javascript
- Strong organizational skills; flexible to complete multiple tasks under tight and competing schedules
- Comfortable collaborating closely with teammates and communicating with users

This is a remote, work from home position, but candidates must be located within the U.S. Candidates must be able to travel to our New York City office, or TBD company-wide offsite locations, up to 4x per year
