Software Development Engineer In Test

As an Experienced Quality Assurance Software Engineer you will be part of a team that designs, develops, modifies, and executes automated software test plans; analyzes and writes test standards and procedures; maintains documentation of results; and works closely with business system analysts and software development in resolution of problems. This position requires an innovative individual who has great attention to detail, team-oriented, a quick learner and is driven to produce results.

What you will be doing:

• Design, implement, and execute automated testing suites on C#/.NET/SQL Server technology stack, to ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Design, build, and test high quality reusable automated test harnesses and modules
• Develop and support automated unit, system, API, performance, and load test harnesses and modules
• Document defects, reproduction steps, RCA's, and producing technical documentation  
• Leverage Azure Test Plans to configure test cases to be converted to automated tests, continuous build (CI/CD pipelines), and automated test frameworks
• Learn and understand Company products and services to help form their test requirements
• Mentor less-experienced staff in their career development
• Raise genuine concerns about the software quality
• Assist with manual testing if needed
• Actively participate in scheduled and adhoc meetings within the team or associated with specific projects

What you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in a Technology related field from an accredited University required or equivalent work experience.
• 4 years of automation experience building maintainable automation frameworks (eg Coded UI, C#, JavaScript, python, Selenium, appium) and leveraging continuous build (CI/CD).
• experience testing Web APIs, Services, UIs and Mobile Apps.
• Experience with test automation on integrated applications and Databases (MS-SQL).
• Experience with Azure Test Plans or MTM.
• Experience using WinAppDriver or Coded UI a plus.
• Fundamental understanding of virtualization and containerization technologies (RedHat OpenShift, Docker, container orchestration and configuration management with Kubernetes).
• Experience with highly available, highly scalable deployments on AWS is a plus.
• Experience with security testing a plus.
• Ability to operate independently and make good decisions.
• Ability to adjust to changing priorities, circumstances and direction.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships within the QA team and other internal departments.
• Ability to analyze complex relationships and configuration and communicate results in a clear, summary form.
