We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Technical SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Specialist to join our team! As a Technical SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, implementing and managing our SEO strategy. As our online presence is extremely important for the success of business, your position will play a huge role in driving our business' growth and success.
Responsibilities:
- Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for SEO & content
- Perform site level implementation: improving site structure, page construction, compelling SEO copywriting, updating metadata and all tags (h1, alt, etc.)
- Implementable knowledge of technical factors (display code JavaScript, CSS, html, xml sitemap), and SEO Audits.
- Execute on-page optimizations strategies to improve clients’ website search engine rankings.
- Analyze competitor backlinks, and drive strategy to acquire backlinks that positively impact organic rankings
- Keep track of all activities including outreach efforts, links built, anchor text used, domain and page authorities of all acquired links
- Perform thorough, detailed website audit analysis, identifying current problems and opportunities, with a focus on crawlability, site architecture and Google search console alerts
- Develop and implement internal linking strategies
- Develop technical optimization guides for new website development, this may include working with the strategy team to assist with the development of IA’s
- Understand and communicate how algorithms may/will impact goals
- Ensure strong relationships and alignment with design, product management, and development teams.
- Identify and remove any potentially harmful backlinks that could negatively affect website rankings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics)
- 10 years’ experience in an SEO consumer acquisition role
- Experience partnering with senior executives as well as leading worldwide digital teams operating effectively within different cultures
- Experience developing, coordinating & executing demand generation plans, programs, and campaigns
- Proven track record of taking ownership, thinking strategically, and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong background in web analytics, including expertise in Google Analytics
- Advanced knowledge of web design principles and technologies, and their SEO implications, including HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, DNS, robots, etc.
- Familiarity with growth and optimization strategies for heavily trafficked websites
