Under the supervision of the Manager, you are responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and supervising the activities of the Day Porters staff and ensuring tenants / clients requests and work orders are properly and timely closed.
May also supervise the performance of the clean-up and basic maintenance of the surrounding grounds and premises.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide concierge services in the client's conference center.
Reviews, assigns, and manage service request or work order are successfully completed.
Provide services to set up meeting space / conference center.
Issue supplies and equipment, and conduct inventory of materials to ensure that an adequate number of supplies are always present.
Provide Safety training to all employees monthly.
May supervise or perform other assigned duties (depending on the building, facility, and client needs), including cleaning / maintaining outdoor furnishings, assisting with inventory control and supply ordering, and assisting with tenant moves.
Promptly respond to and notify management of spills and emergency situations, need for major and minor building / facility repairs, lights that are out or broken, broken equipment and fixtures, damaged structures, ruptured pipes / plumbing, problems with heating / cooling and ventilation, and any other observable safety issues / concerns
Ensure the proper and safely operation (including training) of cleaning equipment, tools, devices, chemical / cleaning agents including mops, vacuums, electric polishing machines, power tools and equipment, and special cleaning solutions in order to efficiently perform the duties and to avoid harming floors, fixtures, individuals, building staff, and the environment.
Organize and maintain all Safety Data Sheets (SDS's) for cleaning products, solvents and materials as required. Ensure staff has been trained appropriately and understands the Hazard Communication Program and utilizes the appropriate Safety Gear.

IMPORTANT EDUCATION
- High school diploma or GED is preferred IMPORTANT EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 2 years related experience, preferably at the supervisory level ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Must be able to follow and provide both oral and written instructions
- Must be able to follow through and carry out work orders and coordinate and schedule others to perform such work
- Ability to supervise and yet work collaboratively with others
- Must be reliable, thorough, observant, very organized, flexible and courteous
- Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (MS Word and Excel) and Work Order System WORK ENVIRONMENT This job operates in a professional office environment.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Must have ability to stoop, stand, climb, frequently lift a minimum of 50 lbs. of equipment (pumps, tools, ladders) and safely install rigging / lifting devices
- Regularly required to crouch and reach to install / move equipment by bending forward at the waist or by bending legs and spine
- Involves movement between departments, floors, and properties to facilitate work
- Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you
- Ability to read and understand information presented orally and in writing
