Execute sourcing and category management activities for designated service lines, including executing contracts based on the results of RFXs to obtain the best value for goods and services required by our client.The role will partner with internal stakeholders to develop requirements, , and score RFx events, develop appropriate leverage, negotiate pricing and commercial terms, and assist in contracting. The selected candidate will bring outside market expertise to assist internal stakeholders and management of optimal supplier pricing and service structures as well as insights into changes in market conditions.
Core activities include an analytical review of contract costing planned vs. actuals, calculating and reporting realized savings opportunities, and executing category management and sourcing best practices. Establishing and prioritizing project plans for sourcing projects will be critical to achieving expected objectives and results. The role will negotiate and close global contracts Cushman & Wakefield manages for facility and property services for the Verizon portfolio including landscaping and snow removal, fire safety services, janitorial services, general contractors, electrical, plumbing, water treatment, UPS, elevators, pest control, etc.
This role is a hybrid requiring key financial acumen and financial technical expertise with a focus on the sourcing/supply chain arena and requires a very cultivated professional work ethic and high-end customer service skills to be effective. The incumbent will perform at the highest of ethical standards, reflecting the core values of C&W as defined in its Business Code of Conduct, Policies and Procedures Manual, and other related company policies.

Job Description
External relationships: This role will interact with the client, client staff, andsuppliers.
Internal relationships: This role will interact across the account service lines, with other C&W co-workers as well as key corporate/platform COE (what is COE? Needs to be spelled out)partners.
Job Responsibilities
- Analyze aggregate procurement data to identify trends and opportunities, and create reports for Sourcing Managers and Senior Leadership.
- Utilize best-in-class strategic sourcing process and data-driven analytics to negotiate optimal commercial terms and conditions that meet or exceed the needs of Stakeholders. Develop and execute RFx, analyze results, establish leverage strategies, and assess award scenarios. Negotiate all commercial terms related to third-party contracts to optimize the total cost of ownership for the Company.
- Based on the analysis of Company spend, client activity, and the marketplace, develop and recommend the most appropriate sourcing strategy for each project assigned.
- Provide expertise within the organization around the supply markets that the company buys in for designated categories, and understand the effects that economic, technological, and governmental changes that impact those markets; share expertise with junior sourcing staff and leadership. Continuously review industry and peer best practices, educate the organization on them, and develop plans to implement those that provide a competitive advantage.
- Utilize sound project management techniques to ensure projects meet objectives and timelines, including the development of comprehensive project and communication plans.
- Maintain team accountability to project deliverables and execute all necessary communications to ensure accurate and timely flow of information to internal customers, stakeholders, and suppliers.
- Ensure actions are in compliance with department and company policies and procedures, and applicable local, state, and federal laws.
- Maintain category-related dashboards/reports to support team functionality and planning.
- Satisfy key Sourcing project-specific data analytical needs to leadership and key partners.
- Provide sourcing project analytical support, including but not limited to:
- Supplier list.
- Supplier performance metrics.
- Historical quantities & forecast quantities.
- Assist in the management of all RFX activities, including but not limited to:
- Compile and fully vet spend baseline.
- Establish and maintain the RFX participant list.
- Create and manage of RFX timeline to ensure key deadlines are met.
- Prepare RFX pricing workbooks to align with the Scope of Work.
- Provide award scenario planning analysis ('what-if scenarios' of RFX supplier responses including pricing)
- Identify new suppliers as needed.
Rationalize the supplier base.
Increase spend with diverse suppliers.
- Assist in the maintenance of the Sourcing Dashboard (Master Supplier & Rates Directory).
- Identify new suppliers as needed.
- Provide basic project management support (status reporting, project plan execution support) in collaboration with Sourcing Managers.
- Assist in the development of presentations (PowerPoint) for Sourcing initiatives and projects (updates, ROI, etc.).
- Create, manage, and maintain sourcing agreements on our SharePoint site.
- Responsible for establishing pricing and property files for suppliers with large contracts and/or repeated services.
- Collaborate with suppliers/internal resources to identify and track location and service changes and amend agreements as needed.
- Support finance to resolve invoice issues for on-time payment to suppliers.
- Complete all required C&W required training as scheduled annually.
- Other assigned operational tasks as needed.

Advanced "expert" level experience using Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Merging Spreadsheets, Sorting, Adding Filters, Custom Sort, etc.) to utilize data analytics s for sourcing storytelling is required

- Prior success working remotely, utilizing paperless virtual online tools and resources; successfully able to maneuver and confidently explore independent solutions and network within the line corporate, account, and client community.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge and abilities with office automation tools in Outlook, Excel & Word, including proficiency in the operation of smartphone and/or iPad/tablet, uploading .pdf files, and documents, and logging into conference meetings (i.e., BlueJeans, Teams Meetings, Zoom).
- Financial acumen with expert Excel navigation skills is required, and direct sourcing or procurement experience is a plus.
- Must have proven experience with detailed data analysis, large data sets, and an ability to quickly assess and draw conclusions from complex data sets.
- Advanced prior experience conducting cost and benefit analysis, including conclusions and recommendation reporting.
