We are looking for a Benefits and HR Assistant to support and grow HR team. If you are passionate about HR want to help grow a nourishing workplace, this position is for you. You will gain HR experience in a fast-paced work environment by supporting and improving all HR functions.
This position report to the Director of Human Resource.
Oversee various employee benefits- Responsibilities are but not limited to:
· Reviewing monthly payroll deductions
· Resolving employee issues with benefits administrators and insurance providers
· Providing new hires with explanations of benefits and instructing them on enrollment and fulfillment procedures
· Providing ongoing support for the HR teams
· Consulting with employees about eligibility and other pertinent issues
· Ensuring that the firm’s benefits policy is compliant with the set laws and regulations
· Maintaining records of personnel-related data in the database and ensure all employment requirements are met
Daily HR functions- Responsibilities are but not limited to:
· Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance
· Maintain records of personnel-related data (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates etc.) in the database and ensure all employment requirements are met
· Support the recruitment/hiring process by sourcing candidates, performing background checks, assisting in shortlisting, issuing employment contracts
· Assist supervisors in performance management procedures
· Perform orientations, onboarding, and update records with new hires
· Produce and submit reports on general HR activity
· Support other functions as assigned

Preferred Education and Experience
· Associate degree in human resources or related field.
· 2-3 years of Human Resource experience
· Any similar combination of education and experience in related field
