What are the responsibilities and job description for the A/P Clerk position at Custom Building Products?
Custom Building Products is seeking a skilled an Accounts Payable Clerk for our manufacturing facility. This is an intermediate position on 1st shift (Monday-Friday, 8a to 4:30p).
The person in this position will:
1. Code and process expense invoices for all vendors.
2. Process raw material and packaging invoices.
3. Communicate with internal and external customers verbally and in writing.
4. Be a back-up to all admin positions including answering phones and greeting visitors.
The applicant must have the ability to:
- Be self-reliant and able to meet deadlines
- Coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions
- Be detail oriented
- Possess strong oral and written communication skills
- Be capable of adhering to deadlines and project needs
- Lift and carry up to 25 lbs
The qualified candidate must also be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have some experience with JD Edwards software. The qualified applicant will also possess: a high school diploma (required), AA degree in relevant field preferred, and at least 2 years of related field/work experience. Overtime is required as needed.
