Custom Made Meals is a Food manufacturing facility in Denver Colorado with 400 associates. We are the team behind the scenes of America’s home kitchens, producing 15,000 cases of fresh product every day from kebabs to stuffed jalapenos that we deliver to top retail stores across the county. CMM is currently looking to hire a Controller who provides leadership for all accounting and finance functions at Company. Drive daily activities across the company to provide data, maintain proper controls, and ensure accurate and timely business decisions.

Major Tasks and Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that appropriate accounting policies,      procedures, and practices are established to prepare financial statements      in accordance with US GAAP.
• Manage the month-end and annual close processes.
• Train and develop accounting staff.
• Prepare presentations of monthly results and weekly      KPIs.
• Manage the budget process.
• Provide forecast of financial statements.
• Treasury management.
• Identify and implement cost savings and continuous      improvements.
• Support commercial activities including product pricing      and understanding of product line profitability.
• Support operations with cost and analytical support for      understanding areas of variance and improvement.
• Lead process to ensure accuracy of inventory at all      times within the business.
• Manage all financial aspects of the payroll function.
• Improve use of data systems and integration. 

Compensation   / Benefits

• We offer a competitive salary based on experience. This is an exempt   position with a range of $125,000 - $145,000 a year depending on shift and   experiencing  with the opportunity to increase pay based on performance.   We offer Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending Accounts, 401K with a match   up to 4%, and paid time off.

Requirements

• BS in Accounting. Master's Degree or CPA preferred. 10      years’ experience in a related field including several years in a      management role having significant business impact.
• Highly motivated, hands-on, results driven, forward      thinking professional who can thrive in a team-oriented environment.
• Previous development of KPI’s & cost accounting      methodologies used to manage the business.
• Experience in manufacturing/food processing a plus.
• Uses data to drive decision and results.
• Must have solid communication, technology, analytical      and management skills.
• Excellent Excel skills required, experience with      Protrace, SAGE, Tableau preferred.

Salary : $125,000 - $145,000
