Zions is seeking a Business Systems Analyst

 

We are currently seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst who will be part of a systems reliability team. We enable the delivery of key customer data solutions and help accelerate team velocity by ensuring the reliability of our development and delivery systems. This is achieved by reducing technical debt, managing vulnerability patches, coordinating resources across various teams, and facilitating environment management and coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day tasks associated with system resiliency and reducing technical debt, such as coordination of systems patching, cybersecurity vulnerability remediation, etc.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and facilitate system upgrades in compliance with change and release management policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate access management by submitting and tracking access requests.
  • Ensure availability of current systems and infrastructure documentation by working with appropriate subject matter experts.
  • Ability to perform in a team-based environment.
  • Look for ways to continuously improve our team’s systems and processes — “Improving the work IS the work.”
  • Where appropriate, automate redundant, repeatable processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • We want a highly-motivated individual and a self-starter who has experience in business analysis, process improvement, project management, application support and delivery.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related fields, and 4 years of experience.  A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications
  • Experience in a large-scale IT organization with complex systems and infrastructure.
  • Working knowledge of business systems and applications, change and release management, project and systems management.
  • Familiarity with tools and technology for automation (Python, robotic process automation (RPA), etc.).
  • Working knowledge of Agile Processes and Methodologies. Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) a plus.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Solid technical and non-technical communication skills using both verbal and written interactions.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple business and technical teams.
  • Knowledge of and or experience with customer data systems in banking is a plus.
