What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping/Receiving Associate position at CutRateBatteries.com?
We are a small 13-year-old e-commerce business specializing in batteries used by military, police, other government agencies and fortune 500 companies. Our need is for an experienced customer service representative, who can also help manage our small warehouse. You will interact with customers via phone, email, and live chat.
This isn't a job where you only sit at the computer, as this person interacts with shipping and receiving; helping to unpack, stock, and fill orders (occasional items weighing 50 lbs). So you get to stand up and do a variety of work. You'll also be exposed the the e-commerce side of the business, and will learn a variety of skills relating to online sales.
We are advertising for full-time, however would consider part-time. Typical customer service hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. We are very small and flexible, so working from home some days is an option.
Ideal candidates would have some experience with customer service and e-commerce, with a strong desire to learn to run an e-commerce business. Also, the ideal candidate is excited to work in a small company, as opposed to getting lost in a large company.

Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour
