Job Overview

CV Resources seeking an experienced Interim General Ledger (GL) Accountant to assist our client in Nampa, ID. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting expertise, particularly in the manufacturing industry, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Proficiency in NetSuite is essential for this role, as you will be responsible for managing our financial data within this system during a period of transition.

Key Responsibilities

• General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Month-End Close: Manage the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and generating financial statements.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Inventory Accounting: Oversee inventory accounting processes, including cost accounting, variances, and adjustments.
• Reconciliations: Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, intercompany accounts, and other key financial accounts.
• Fixed Assets: Track and reconcile fixed assets, including depreciation schedules and asset disposals.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team, operations, and other departments to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience: 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in NetSuite is required, along with advanced Excel skills and familiarity with inventory management software.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP and experience with cost accounting.
• Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Availability: Ability to start immediately and commit to the interim period.
