Seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to manage and coordinate the forecasting, purchasing, releasing, receiving, transfer, replenishment, and reporting of our inventory. The position requires strong planning, analytical, and excel skills with the ability to quickly analyze data and balance inventory to maintain manufacturing schedules and provide an optimal service level of performance. This position is for immediate employment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Order Management
- Forecast and plan based on past trends and future demand
- Generate purchase orders as the main point of contact with vendors
- Manage vendors and pricing within company ERP
- Resolve and document purchase order discrepancies
Freight Management
- Coordinating shipment releases with vendors
- Coordinating freight deliveries with forwarders
- Coordinating Product designation for multiple warehouses
Inventory Management
- Receiving Inventory
- Replenishment
- Stock transfers
- Reconciliation
- Monitor and maintain stock levels
Misc.
- Cost reductions
- Lead time reduction
- Inventory optimization
- Payment term extension
- Supplier performance
- New product planning
- Perform other related duties as assigned
