What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility Planner position at CVS Health?

Job Description
As the Facility Planner, you will coordinate the physical workplace with the people and work of the organization; it integrates principles of business administration, architecture and the behavioral and engineering sciences. You will prepare layouts, plans and other documents as required for space planning and/or interior design of the CVS Health office spaces.

Additional responsibilities of the Facility Planner:
- Manage purchases, coordinate delivery, and the installation of furnishings and/or equipment with both internal and outside facility services
- Coordinate construction, renovation and relocation projects to include review of bid proposals against the department budget and project management
- Offers professional services on assigned projects concerning design, space planning, MAC activities, specifications and installation of systems and ancillary furniture for buildings and facilities.
- Develops furniture bids, oversees order progress, ensuring that timing, costs and contract requirements are adhered to.
- Supervises furniture installation, renovation and reconfigure projects.
- Provide a monthly narrative of activities highlighting major projects, training received, savings achieved, significant customer service items and issues/concerns.
- Works with management to review design changes, furniture specifications/substitutions, and purchasing procedures.
- Facilitate projects – space and workplace programming, planning, design, budgeting, and supervision

Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in facility planning
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Access

Preferred Qualifications
- College degree is preferred

Education
Verifiable High School Diploma or GED is required
