Job Description
This retail marketing paralegal position will support in-house counsel in the management of CVS retail marketing and advertising assets, which will include interfacing with the business teams supported by the Retail Marketing Digital Legal team. The person selected will manage the marketing/advertising review platform, review marketing materials, assist in the management of related resources/trainings, and help coordinate answers to the many legal and compliance questions that arise on a day-to-day basis. This person will also work on special projects supporting various legal partners and retail teams. Strong project management skills and a background in marketing law or equivalent is preferred. The ideal candidate for this role will be collaborative, detail oriented, have the ability to prioritize multiple projects, have a willingness to learn, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in reviewing and advising on advertising, marketing and communication materials to ensure legal compliance and minimize liability.
• Advise stakeholders on how advertising, marketing and communication materials can be created and executed to ensure legal compliance and minimize liability.
• Manage the marketing/advertising review platform. Identify, administer and support the development of digital tools and platforms and ensure they are accurate and updated as required.
• Assist in the standardization of marketing agreements, identifying core provisions required for all marketing related agreements and ensuring that the Company’s marketing policies are incorporated into the agreements where appropriate.
• Work in partnership with various legal counsel SMEs to drive our brand protection efforts and protect the Company’s brands.
• Ensure projects are integrated in key databases or such platforms as may be implemented globally by the legal function (including Workfront, iManage, WebTMS and new platforms).
• Other duties related to support of the retail and marketing functions, including PO creation, billing, invoicing support, project management, document preparation, and group facilitation.
• Perform such other duties and participate in projects as may from time to time be assigned by the lawyers in the team. Build internal reports and ensure data integrity in internal docketing and systems.
• Manage administrative operations, including creating new matters in asset management and billing systems, coordinating execution of agreements, assisting outside counsel on obtaining and completing legal documents, and conformance with legal team policies and expectations.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 28.85
Maximum: 57.69
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

Required Qualifications
2 or more years of paralegal or comparable experience.
Preferred Qualifications

- Strong project management abilities and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive and confidential material.

- Experience demonstrating ability to work on your own and to ask questions. Control a high volume and complex workload by prioritizing workflow; ability to manage projects.
- Adapt to, and master, changing technology.
