Job Description
Based on experience and education, new hires in this position are expected to start between $18.16-$19.41 an hour.Exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician in the pharmacy to excel in a complex, high impact dispensing role and positively impact the lives of others. As a Pharmacy Technician working in the backend of the pharmacy, you would be responsible for all aspects of the filling of mail order prescriptions. You get to manually fill, canister fill and channel fill for the automated machines. As a backend Pharmacy Technician, you get work directly with the medication and the filing of automated machines. Schedule:Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:15am-2:45pm, and Saturday 8:30am-5:00pm It's critical that you are know how to use a 10 key pad and can lift 40 pounds. As a Pharmacy Technician in the backend you will be standing for the length of your shift. Good written and verbal communication skills for interacting with all levels of staff is also required.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 17.00
Maximum: 27.90
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
Required Qualifications
- Regular and predictable attendance - Colleague will be required to work mandatory overtime/extended work week when needed - Colleague will be required to travel when needed - Ability to stand for extended periods of time - Ability to reach/twist/turn/bend/stoop/walk and lift up to 40 pounds- Willingness to apply for pharmacy technician license
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal Pharmacy Technician training- Pharmacy Technician experience- Current Illinois Pharmacy Technician License by time of interview
Education
- Verifiable High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
