Position Summary

The Care Management Design team, as part of the Aetna Clinical Solutions, Clinical Innovation and Cross-Enterprise Partnerships Team, is expanding our team and services. The Senior Analyst assists in cross-enterprise and business unit initiatives by leading/managing all aspects of projects and initiatives focused on innovation, growth, and process improvement for the Duals Special Needs care management program. Responsible for providing analysis, presentation, and other support materials within areas of expertise; and developing new areas of expertise. Develop relationships with internal peers, external consultants and cross-functional team members as required in support of initiatives. Supports resolution of problems of a short-term nature with moderate supervision and develops capacity to address mid and longer-term issues. The Senior Analyst must be innovative and not afraid to challenge existing ways of working to continuously improve and enhance our care model and care delivery mechanisms.


Required Qualifications

  • Project planning experience with a focus on strategy design and implementation, program planning and implementation, preferably in a health plan or health care setting
  • Ability to innovate and ideate solutions to operational challenges
  • Demonstrates an ability to be agile, managing multiple priorities at one time, and adapting to change with enthusiasm
  • Demonstrated experience successfully implementing change in complex organizations, including development of presentation and support materials to successfully implement strategy initiatives, program scaling, and change management
  • Experience utilizing analytical, problem solving and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Strong technical skills and proficiency in the utilization of Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and QuickBase
  • Experience working across mid-sized cross-functional initiatives, with a moderate degree of complexity
  • Demonstrated relationship management skills at peer level
  • Experience with Process Mapping and Workflow Documentation
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience working remotely and leading matrix teams are both essential to success in this role


Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of internal systems such as ATV, MedCompass, Dynamo or Salesforce is preferred
  • Knowledge of Special Needs Plan regulatory and operational requirements is preferred


Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or 3 to 5 years Equivalent Experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,700.00 - $105,100.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
