Job Description
**Hybrid - prefer commutable to Woonsocket, RI, Scottsdale, AZ **
As the Senior Compensation Consultant, you will research, analyze, and assist in the design and development of compensation programs to meet business line and corporate objectives. You will work as part of a cohesive team providing compensation support within the group by manipulating large data sets, performing analysis and presenting results.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Maintaining databases to facilitate incentive payment processing,
• Participating in the development of Compensation systems and integration by testing business requirements and providing feedback
• Responding to inquiries during the annual and midyear Merit/Bonus planning cycles
• Supporting team members through ad hoc projects and analysis
• Creating reporting using market and cost analysis to assess current pricing and/or policies
• Maintaining Geographic store alignment database and monitor regulatory Minimum Wage rates across the country to support compensation analyses
• Provide ongoing support and consultative services to Human Resources and line managers in the interpretation of compensation policy, LOLexplanation of operating procedures, and recommendation of alternatives to effectively meet respective business needs
• Analyze peer company survey data to ensure the existence of a competitive compensation structure
• Evaluate jobs using survey data maintained in our pricing tool, Market Pay
• Conduct ad-hoc salary recommendations
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel. Must be able to work with vlookups, pivot tables, tables, and manipulate large data sets
Skills and attributes to be successful:
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Microsoft Access experience
• Compensation and/or Finance experience is strongly
preferred
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 43,700
Maximum: 100,000
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
Required Qualifications
• 3 year experience with a Human Resource cost analysis and reporting background
• 3 years of excel - advanced skill set
Preferred Qualifications
• Prefer experience with WorkDay
Education
• Bachelor's degree / Experience: 3 years of prior
relevant experience in cost analysis
