Cyan Sky Copier Technologies is growing, and we are currently looking to add another full-time field service technician to our team in Schnecksville. A Field Service Technician is a full-time service professional responsible for assessing and performing proper maintenance and repair on equipment fleet. We are looking for a punctual, hard-working person with excellent communication skills, strong customer service orientation, and the ability to prioritize a workload with a positive attitude. Your primary responsibilities will include:
· Repairing and maintaining equipment at customer locations, to include: troubleshooting cause of equipment malfunction, complex disassembly, cleaning, part ordering, replacement of individual parts, reassembly, testing and adjustment
· Understanding and properly performing all mechanical and electronic adjustments on equipment
· Reading and interpreting schematics in service manuals and technical bulletins
· Preparing new equipment for and assisting with installation, set-up, and removal
· Providing customer training in accordance with current field procedures
· Resolving customer concerns and/or communicating outstanding issues to a higher level
· Maintaining tool kit, supplies, and parts inventory
· Achieving acceptable levels of inventory control and usage
· Completing all administrative functions in an accurate and timely manner
· Cooperating with colleagues and management to achieve service goals
· Projecting a positive image through proper attire, communication, and personal grooming
· Keeping Service Manager informed of machines performing below standards
· Performing other duties as assigned by the Service Manager
Your Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent mandatory, technical/vocation school in electronics or electro-mechanical preferred
· Experience in networking, copier, or electronic equipment maintenance and repair helpful
· Mechanical aptitude and strong communication skills
· Ability to work well independently or as part of a team
· Positive, self-motivated, and committed to building and maintaining strong customer relationships
· Willingness to learn new things and accept direction on given assignments
· Valid PA driver’s license with clean driving record and an insured, registered vehicle in good working condition
Physical Demands:
· Frequent kneeling and bending
· Considerable use of hand tools
· Moving or lifting 50 pounds and up to 75 pounds on occasion
