Overview
Cybba is looking for a Vice President of Finance to work with the executive and global management teams on financial strategies relating to performance, pricing, and profitability. The VP of Finance will take the lead on overall financial planning, analysis, and reporting to enhance the profitability of Cybba.
The VP of Finance will be responsible for consolidating forecasting and reporting of P&L statements for our three sales offices: Boston, Mexico City, and Sao Paulo. The VP of Finance will work with the international teams for consistent and accurate reporting on our financial performance. The VP of Finance will report to the CEO and prepare a consolidated company P&L, cash flow analysis, and balance sheet to present to the board on a quarterly basis.
This is a hybrid position based out of our Boston Seaport office.
Responsibilities
- Work with the CEO and management team to achieve financial results and optimize value across all locations (US, Mexico, and Brazil) while managing multiple P&Ls
- Oversee the accounting department and direct the preparation of financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, and tax returns
- Responsible for developing and producing dashboard reporting to deliver financial and operational reporting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to manage the business actively and effectively
- Lead the effort on operational finance proficiency, including identifying, analyzing, and implementing projects or processes to improve financial efficiency and find cost improvements
- Identify and lead financial analysis to support strategic decision-making needs, including pricing and packaging, business model optimization, organizational efficiency initiatives, sales effectiveness, revenue and forecasting, and budgeting
- Establish and maintain stable cash flow management and procedures to ensure cash resources are available for daily operations
- Analyze current and past trends in Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, and expenses
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or CPA
- 8-10 years of financial leadership experience preferably in the agency or media services industry
- Experience with international currency exchanges and banking
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Proven track record to drive results by leading comprehensive analysis and planning, decision-making, and establishment of accountability
- Strong background in Finance with extensive experience with forecasting processes – forecasting, cash flow accuracy, and financial analysis
- QuickBooks accounting software experience is a plus
- Human Resources experience is a plus
