Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automation solutions for material handling products
- Create product solutions that meet industry standards and customer requirements
- Utilize AutoCAD electrical to develop electrical designs for automation systems
- Program PLCs and other control systems to ensure smooth operation of automated processes
- Provide technical support to production teams during the implementation of automation systems
- Interact with customers to understand their needs and provide effective solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of automation projects
- Manage and maintain ERP system for tracking automation projects
- Demonstrate excellent people skills to effectively communicate with team members and clients
- Work independently and in a team environment to meet project deadlines
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in automation technology
- Manage overtime and work schedules to ensure timely completion of projects
- Perform remote work when necessary
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in designing and implementing automation solutions
- Proficiency in AutoCAD electrical and other design software
- Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations
- Excellent programming skills, particularly in PLCs
- Knowledge of ERP systems and their use in project management
- Experience in providing technical support and interacting with customers
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Knowledge of electrical controls and material handling industry
- Proficiency
