We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to estimate the cost and materials needed for pre-hung door projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely cost estimates for pre-hung door projects, using specialized software such as Avaware and Comsense.
- Collaborate with sales, project management, and production teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of estimates.
- Review project specifications and drawings to identify materials, labor, and equipment required.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of current market prices for doors and hardware.
- Conduct research to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Provide support to project managers and sales teams with timely and accurate cost information.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Pre-hung Estimation.
- Door and Hardware experience
- Experience in either Avaware, Comsense or e/PWS
- Ability to read and interpret project specifications and drawings.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred.
