What You Will Be Doing
The Senior Estimator will lead the preconstruction estimating duties for carpentry, drywall, pre-fabrication, and wall paneling projects in a 40 mile radius.
Job duties include (but may not be limited to):

- Review plans, provide scope development, produce proposals, provide take-offs, and finalize pricing for projects
- Manage equipment, labor, material, and project durations
- Follow up on bids as needed
- Strategize take-offs for efficiency and speed
- Maintain relationships with GCs
- Meet company expectations on bidding, sales goals, closing ratios, and project performance
- Implement and support estimating software to ensure best use
- Keep up with project documents and paperwork
- Lead project kickoffs and ensure successful execution of projects
- Submit change orders as needed
- Review materials with Field Supervisor and Foreman
- Provide monthly feedback on costs in comparison to estimates
- Predict project close outs
- Onboard and train new team members as needed
What You Need for this Position
- At least 5 years of estimating experience in the construction space with preference for drywall, carpentry, pre-fabrication, and/or wall paneling
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in construction management or related field is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating/project management software
- Abilty to prioritze tasks and ensure completion
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Capability to lead or manage a team
- Valid US Driver's License
- Bilingual is a plus
