Our company is seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and developing fire sprinkler systems for various projects. The main objective of this position is to ensure that all fire sprinkler systems meet safety standards and comply with local and national codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed designs and drawings for fire sprinkler systems using AutoCAD software
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all fire sprinkler systems meet client specifications and requirements
- Conduct hydraulic calculations to determine the appropriate water supply and pressure needed for each fire sprinkler system
- Perform site visits to assess the location and make necessary adjustments to the fire sprinkler system design
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all fire sprinkler system designs and revisions
- Troubleshoot and resolve any design-related issues or challenges
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in fire sprinkler design
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software
- Strong knowledge of fire sprinklers and their function
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- NICET certification (Level II or higher) preferred
- Experience with AutoSPRINK, HydraCAD, Hydraulic calculations, SprinkCad is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection or related field is a plus
