Job Title: Senior Network Administrator

Location: San Diego (HYBRID - work from home Tues-Thurs) with TRAVEL

Salary: $85-135k/year

Requirements: Experience with Enterprise-Level Firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco, Check Point, etc.), SD-WANs, & AWS

Voted as Best Local Bank by San Diego Magazine, we are a highly regarded financial institution with almost 100 years of experience serving customers from San Diego to Los Angeles. We're currently looking for a Network Administrator for our San Diego territory.

You'll be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the network infrastructure for our financial institution. This role requires a strong understanding of routing, networking, and access control, as well as experience with a variety of operating systems and enterprise-level firewalls.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement network architecture for the organization
• Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls
• Perform network optimization and troubleshooting to ensure maximum performance and availability
• Manage access control and security policies for the network
• Monitor network traffic and perform regular network audits
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth integration of new systems and technologies
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior network administrators
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in network technology
  
  

Must Have Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field OR equivalent experience
• 3 years of Network Administration experience
• Experience with enterprise-level firewalls, such as Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco, or Fortinet
• Experience with SD-WAN and Amazon Web Services (AWS)

• Proficiency in IP, WAN, and wireless networks
• Extensive experience with Windows, *Nix, UNIX, Linux, FreeBSD, and MacOS operating systems
  
  

This is a HYBRID role (3 days in-office from Tuesday to Thursday). The first 3 months will be on-site for training.

This role requires local TRAVEL and monthly travel to Los Angeles (~3 consecutive days per month). There will be over-time work.
