Position Overview: The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality of products and services provided by the company, as well as developing and implementing quality control processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain quality control processes and systems.
- Perform quality audits to ensure products and services meet required standards.
- Analyze quality trends and identify potential issues.
- Create and implement solutions to address quality issues.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt resolution of quality-related issues.
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to ensure quality standards are met.
- Train and supervise quality personnel.
- Bachelors degree in Quality Engineering or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in quality engineering (developing inspection procedures, identifying key process control points, technical writing, auditing, statistical reporting, and defining inspection criteria)
- Experience with Sheetmetal, weld quality (checking the quality of welds on different metals)
- Experience with SAP
- ASQ and CQE certification OR must be obtained within 1 year of hire
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
