Tax Manager Job Description
The Tax Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of tax compliance and planning for the organization. They will work closely with the finance team and other departments to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting. The ideal candidate must have a CPA and strong background in Real Estate clients, with experience in individual tax returns as a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all tax compliance and planning activities for the organization.
- Review and prepare federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Conduct tax research and analysis, staying up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations.
- Coordinate and communicate with external auditors and tax advisors.
- Provide guidance and support to other departments on tax-related matters.
- Identify opportunities for tax savings and assist with tax planning strategies.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns and payments.
- Manage and develop a team of tax professionals.
- CPA certification is required.
- 5 years of experience in tax compliance and planning, with a focus on Real Estate.
- Experience with individual tax returns is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience managing and developing a team.

Salary : $125,000 - $175,000
