Role Summary
Seeking a highly creative, disciplined and project-oriented field marketer with an audience-first mindset for the role of field channel marketing specialist. Candidates will be great communicators with a love for bringing clients, prospects, and channel partners together for memorable, value-driven event experiences.
The Field Channel Marketing Specialist will serve on the Cyderes marketing team to plan, promote, and manage the coordination, communication, and delivery of field marketing programs and events.
Our ideal candidate would have a passion for building and hosting memorable event experiences with a track record of collaborating with internal and external partners towards strategic objectives. This person must have strong project planning and writing skills alongside a constant willingness to learn, grow, and interact with people from all walks of life.
Responsibilities
• Plan and host in-person client and partner to partner events to create net-new sales opportunities, accelerate existing sales opportunities and deepen our existing customer relationships.
• Build and grow a network of relationships with our core channel partners and manage the lifecycle of planning, hosting, and reporting on channel field events.
• Strategize, build and execute integrated field campaigns that involve digital marketing via email, social, and account-based marketing strategies and tactics.
• Assist sales team as needed, including increasing brand awareness locally/regionally, and driving leads and opportunities
• Use our content management tool to build landing pages for events and send automated and personalized behavioral emails for the full lifecycle of an event
• Produce various literature, signage, merchandise, and other materials to be used at field channel marketing events
• Maintain relationships with third-party vendors and venues
• Negotiate with retailers and other third-party partners on promotional display and merchandise placement
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities
• Work with digital marketing team to manage social media activity surrounding field marketing campaigns
• Track expenses in an organized fashion
• Report weekly/monthly on the status of field marketing activities
• Document and share lead/customer intelligence with sales team
Requirements
Requirements and skills
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field
• 2-5 years of experience in field or event focused role with an preferred experience working in B2B channel environment
• Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well analytical and reporting capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on in-person connection and creating excitement around an event
• Firm grasp on various marketing platforms and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing
• Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Ability to travel up to 50% will be required for this position
