Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia for patients undergoing various surgical and procedural interventions.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient status throughout procedures and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary.
- Participate in pre-operative evaluations and post-operative care as needed.
- Provide anesthesia support across different surgical settings including 7 ORs in the main Surgery department, 4 ORs in the adjacent Surgi-Center, 2 GI treatment rooms, 1 bronchoscopy room, and 1 Cath lab.
- Occasionally, provide OB coverage as part of the anesthesia team (typically not assigned to OB for locums).
- Requirement: DEA certification
