Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Removes and weighting chips.
• Loads and unloading trucks.
• Set up parts in designated areas to prepare for processing.
• Identifies and ensures that the correct parts are placed in the designated order.
• Assists machine operators with general duties as requested to support the smooth operation of the machines.
• Reports any problems observed to the supervisor whether they are related to storage and placing of parts or machine malfunctions, etc.
• Produces daily production reports as directed by supervisor.
• Must have understanding and knowledge of company procedures and work instructions.
• Maintains a safe and organized workstation and follows all company policy, safety and procedures.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED and six months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Mathematical Skills: Basic arithmetic.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to operate a forklift and man lift to approved O.S.H.A. standards
• The employee frequently is required to walk, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
• The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Due to the nature of the job the candidate should be able to lift 50 pounds with assistance.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
• The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
• The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, extreme heat, and vibration.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
