Responsibilities:
- Inspects purchased parts & materials for conformance to specifications.
- Perform Incoming Inspections based on known criteria and part specifications.
- Approves or rejects items, and records inspection and disposition information.
- Reports rejected material to management.
- Label all cartons with labels in a neat and consistent manner.
- Label rejected material per the defined process.
- Generate non-conformances for rejected material.
- Moves received and inspected material to applicable locations.
- Identify materials to be removed from inspection.
- Perform other activities as assigned by management.
- 3 years related experience required.
- Common use measurement tools: calipers, micrometers, surface profilometer.
- Read and interpret specification drawings.
- Must have the ability to follow directions with minimal supervision.
- Proficient computer skills required – Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
- ERP experience required.
- Due to the nature of the job the candidate should be able to lift 20 pounds with assistance.
