Warehouse Specialist

Job Description :

Pay Range $17hr - $22hr

• As a Warehouse Specialist, candidates will play a crucial role in our logistics and supply chain operations.
• Managing the Shipping Schedule and Preparations for Deliveries : Coordinating the daily shipping schedule to ensure timely deliveries.
• Preparing and organizing the warehouse for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Preparing Shipping Documents and Labels : Handling all necessary documentation for shipping, including the generation of shipping labels, packing lists, and other required documents.
• Accurately Executing Transactions in SAP : Performing transactions within SAP with precision, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of inventory movements.
• Resolving Shipping Issues : Addressing and resolving any shipping-related challenges to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Completing Transaction Audits as Requested : Conducting audits of transactions to verify accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures.
• Identifying Opportunities to Improve Efficiency : Continuously seeking and identifying ways to improve efficiency and productivity within the warehouse operations.
• Utilizing S / 4 Hana and EWM Post-Migration : After the migration to S / 4 Hana and EWM, candidate will be responsible for creating warehouse tasks, monitoring tasks, and performing other necessary transactions in S / 4 Hana.
• Performing All Other Duties as Assigned : Flexibly undertaking additional tasks or duties as assigned to support the overall objectives of the warehouse and logistics team.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience :

• Safety : Ability to work safely in all tasks, adhering to safety protocols and wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
• Basic Arithmetic : Ability to perform basic arithmetic for inventory management, order processing, and record-keeping.
• Computer Proficiency : Competency in using computer systems, including SAP and Microsoft Office suite.
• Detail-Oriented : Being detail oriented with the ability to execute job duties with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Teamwork : Ability to work effectively within teams, contributing positively to team dynamics and outcomes.

Education :

High school diploma required.

Experience :

• Prior experience with ERP systems and in a warehouse environment is desirable.
