The responsibility of the Project Engineering Leader, Global Media Advanced Engineering is to manage equipment and or facility related projects, concentrating on mechanical & chemical process equipment, media, and facilities infrastructure. Project Management of Peer Engineers Fundamental and Technical Engineered Designs across all Plant Support and Capital Project Installations. Daily Management of Advanced Engineering sub-teams including employee activities including PTO, training, and Performance Management aspects. Responsibilities of Management of up to 5-10 subordinate engineers, etc
What you’ll do:
- Lead Diverse Technical Teams related to membrane process technologies, including equipment design and specification, component specification, supervision of equipment installation/modification
- Generate and present status and budge updates to Sr. Management
- Develops proposals and exploits new areas of technology offering opportunity and economic advantage to the Corporation.
- Generates contracts providing a detailed scope of work pertaining to multiple programs. Which will include specific phases of the project (s)
- Provide technical support for both Installation Qualification and Operational Qualification activities, often under the direction of the subject matter expert.
- Evaluates, and analyzes manufacturing process data to find solutions relative to customer requirements, problems, and opportunities .
Who you are:
- Extensive knowledge in one or more engineering disciplines (mechanical, chemical, electrical) concentrating on chemical, mechanical and or process equipment design
- Ability to manage external resources trades and machine shops in a global environment.
- Ability to analytically evaluate data and information, use progressive problem-solving methods and implement solutions.
- Ability to generate and maintain detailed and assembly dimensional drawings utilizing CAD software. AutoCAD preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical or electrical engineering required with 3-5 years of relevant experience along with 3-5 years of supervisory/leading experience. A technical or business Masters’ degree preferred.
