What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Staff position at D&Company Promotions, LLC?
We have an event in Cheraw, . We need reliable temps to help us setup and run our company picnic. Friday Nov 4 and Saturday Nov 5.

***NEED TO BE AVAILABLE FOR FULL SHIFT
Rate: $23/hr- paid Monday
I can pay $20 flat extra per referral but must work full shift.
We have PayPal, Venmo or Cash App. We can also send out a check or direct deposit
Dates and Times
Friday Nov 4
Setup Day
9am-1pm might stay longer until 5pm
Assist us in unloading truck, setting up tables, chairs, etc. Wear comfy clothes.
Setup Staff Description
During set up, the staff will help unload trucks and set up equipment. This includes setting up tents, games, and food service areas. Most of this work will be physical, but the onsite event managers are trained in facilitating a safe and efficient set up with all of the workers. There will be some heavy or awkward equipment. This event setup is outdoors and the staff will be on their feet for most of the day. Our onsite Event Manager’s information will be forwarded to you about 1 week before the event date.
General Guidelines:
All workers must have a valid picture ID on them.
Must be able to lift 50lbs. Anything over 50lbs, must use the buddy system.
Setup will happen rain or shine under most conditions. Please dress appropriately for weather. In addition, we recommend workers bring work gloves, sun block and bug repellant with them.
Uniform is khaki or jean shorts/long pants (no cutoffs), a plain tee shirt (no large graphics), & closed-toed shoes.
We will have an onsite timesheet. Please assign one of your workers to take a carbon copy of the signed timesheet back to your office from our onsite Event Manager.
Workers are expected to remain at the event site until all duties are completed as deemed by the onsite Event Manager and released with signed time sheets.
For safety reasons, workers may not bring anyone not contracted to staff the event to the site.
In the unlikely result that an event is cancelled or rescheduled or circumstances make reduction or increase of worker numbers necessary, Compass Rose Events will attempt to provide adequate notice to the Temp Agency.
Saturday Nov 5
9:30am-5pm might need to stay longer
-----will be run day help in different game areas, buffet lines, serving, directing etc. and assist in teardown of event which normally takes about an hour We would provide staff shirts for this day.
Event Staff Description
During the event, some of the staff will run games, inflatables, arts & crafts, face painting, sports activities and some will be involved in making and serving concession and food items. This event is outdoors and the staff will be on their feet for most of the day. They will interact with the client’s families and help them all have a fun-filled day. A friendly demeanor and ability to engage event guests is critical. They will work with adults and children of all ages.
After the event ends all of the equipment will need to be packed up and loaded into the trucks. The event managers on site will explain everything and guide the staff. There will be some heavy or awkward equipment. Safety is important to Compass Rose Events and they successfully take down and load trucks with staff regularly. Our onsite Event Manager’s information will be forwarded to you about 1 week before the event date.

VERY IMPORTANT**
Temp agrees that they will be punctual, committed, and responsible. Contractor is expected to be on time, pleasant, reliable, professional, excellent appearance and not causing problems during your assignment.
