ROW Permit Coordinator
- Responsible for assisting in the approval of ROW permits for specific construction projects for vendor.
- Support the preparation of, obtain, and document permit requests from local City Municipalities, identification of issues for proposed construction routes.
- Prepare and file permit applications required by affected City Municipalities.
- Assist in establishing the project route, estimation of ROW permit costs for the selected route(s).
- Attend, participate in, support, provide input, prepare and report on the following: Site meetings.
- Communicate directly with co-workers.
- Provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Environment
- Work is performed in office and outside field work as work needs dictate.
- Office work may include prolonged seated tasks, extended keyboarding, and use of computer, CAD station.
- May be requested to work overtime.
- Position requires local travel; valid driver’s license and acceptable DMV record required.
- The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use stairs, use hands, reach, talk and hear.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Minimum Qualifications
- Demonstrate the ability to perform all key qualifications of a ROW Permit Specialist.
- Must have a strong customer focus to ensure project meets vendor requirements.
- The ability to read and comprehend system maps, easements. Over time.
- The ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers, clients, and other external contacts.
- One to three years of computer and Cad experience, preferably related to.
- Broadband Map interpretation
- Cable Television experience a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
