Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management within the construction industry and possess strong organizational skills.

We are a hybrid workforce, we work both from home and in the building.
This can be an introduction to design, you can learn the development of concept presentations and quote write-ups for signage and small retail spaces, including elevations. You will support the Architectural Design Project Managers in executing project tasks while developing knowledge of manufacturing, materials, and write-ups. This position leads to multiple paths for advancement!
Overall position description with general areas of responsibility:
Assist the design staff with tasks such as:
- Retrieve Scope Information and work with the database schedules (excel & google doc or comparable)
- Update and maintain project schedules throughout the design process to help prioritize design projects and forecast for production
- Coordinate and schedule meetings
- Set up project folders on our client drive, maintain template changes
- Work with architectural drawings in multiple forms.
- Make job folders (hardcopy)
- File distributions into job folders (hardcopy)
- Send revised design quotes when projects are deleted or scope changes
- Scan documents/redlines to send to contract employees
- Confirm redlines are documented in system and picked up locally.
- Potential Future Tasks depending on their skill set and experience:
- Post Drawings to Sitefolio
- Take-off’s
- Write-Up’s
Computer Skill Development
- Increase knowledge of drafting, 3D modeling, graphic and office software suites
- Adjustment of redlined drawings
Develop knowledge of Manufacturing Processes & Materials
- Learn to use Dfab drawing standards and processes
- Develop décor write-up for estimating projects
- Prepare master quotes for roll-out programs
- Learn to handle rollout programs to assist sales staff with processing orders.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficient using the Microsoft Office Suite software (excel, word)
- Ability to navigate project folders on our network
- Field survey existing space, gather reference photos, critical dimensions, etc.
- Possible site visits on local projects during construction to address problem issues as they arise
- Evaluation of space after Décor is installed, including final walkthrough for punch list items, finish photos, etc.
Working conditions
- This position requires some evening and weekend hours.
- Safety glasses must be worn at all times when working with team members on the shop floor.
