Position Summary: Provides leadership oversight for all administrative functions necessary to support the delivery of system, clinical operations.  Oversees teams of employees and core areas of responsibility to include scheduling services, clinic services, and/or general clinical administration.  Functioning as part of the department leadership team works to establish and maintain Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) in all areas of responsibility and ensures that administrative functions and performance are aligned with the strategic goals of the department.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversees a team providing centralized administrative support to the department. 

  2. Ensures that all calls and inquiries are handled within established standards of practice, quality guidelines and service expectations. 

  3. Establishes systems and processes to help track the effectiveness of administrative support.

  4. Supports care teams and is responsible for establishing, reporting and performance tracking around quality, budgets, patient safety and other established metrics.

  5. Working across teams, facilitates the development of standardized processes and systems.

  6. Interviews and hires new staff.  Working with colleagues, helps to support interview processes which identify, on-board and retain the best possible candidates.

  7. Provides regular feedback around performance focused on service quality.

  8. In collaboration with leadership, takes a lead role in identifying educational and training needs across the Department.

  9. Reviews, identifies and secures resources required to meet the training needs of the administrative team.

  10. Develops and oversees processes to ensure that forms and paperwork are handled to meet established standard of service protocols.

  11. Performs other duties as required or assigned.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with a minimum of two years of related supervisory/management experience required. 

  • Excellent organization, interpersonal, oral and writing skills required.  Exemplary leadership qualities. 

  • The ability to relate and deal effectively with physicians, administrators, support staff, and the general public with a high degree of tact and discretion required.
