We're currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to lead our Graphics Printing Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of over 25 direct and indirect reports in our manufacturing and fulfillment operations for make-to-order printed product lines. As a key member of our leadership team, the Production Manager will play a critical role in building and developing the team, processes, and metrics to execute D2G Group’s strategic objectives.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build and motivate a customer-centric team culture focused on exceeding customer expectations for quality and delivery- Utilize existing KPIs and develop new metrics to assess performance and drive improvements
- Define quality and productivity standards, set team and individual goals to improve and maintain performance
- Evaluate staffing and equipment needs to ensure demand, quality, and shifting product trends are met
- Implement a systematic cross-training program to create redundancies in capabilities and meet productivity needs
- Partner with New Product Development and M&E to bring new personalized printed products to market and develop new graphics capabilities
- Support lean principles and practical processes changes to reduce waste
- Identify and define the scope of continuous improvement projects and partner with the Continuous Improvement Manager to drive completion
- Participate in the annual budgeting process by providing strategic direction for graphics manufacturing
- Evaluate and optimize inventory replenishment processes for consumable operating supplies and raw materials
- Maintain a safe work environment for employees, ensuring compliance with company procedures and state and federal regulations

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Strong leadership background with demonstrated experience in managing teams and driving results.
- Excellent understanding of manufacturing processes, preferably in the graphics printing industry.
- Technologically savvy, staying up to date on the latest printing processes, particularly in the graphics printing industry.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Proven track record of implementing Lean/CI tools and driving process improvements.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly at all levels of the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required.
