This is an entry level position opportunity where we provide training for the right candidate who is committed to working diligently, being reliable, and contributing to our mutual growth.
- Organizing
- Properly sorting incoming bags of material streams into the appropriate locations
- Separating materials based on contaminants.
- Sort and separate materials for recycling or disposal
- Documenting Material Streams.
- Sanitize work areas to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Categorizing based on Stream:
- Plastics Bottles/Containers
- Paper Boxes
- Plastic Bags/Film
- Aluminum
- Pet Food Packaging
- Standing on feet for many hours with sortation
- Loading Baler of materials
- Documenting material weights
- Cleaning work area after tasks are complete.
Requirements:
- Basic Mechanical Skills
- Basic Math Skills
- Basic Computer Skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor on a regular basis - 50lbs.
- Knowledge of proper sanitation procedures for maintaining a clean work environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to sort materials accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
