What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Specialist position at DAA Northwest?
We have an immediate opening for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team. In this position you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of accounts payable which includes:
- Processing incoming and forwarded invoices for G/L coding and approval.
- Process payments via check or electronic methods.
- Maintain accurate files of all unpaid and paid invoices.
- Perform account analysis as required and on an as needed basis.
- Effectively communicate with other department team members while working out problem situations with vendor invoices.
- Interact with vendors to communicate status of their account and to resolve any questions or concerns.
- Perform daily bank reconciliation and post transactions accurately to the G/L
- Effectively interact with department team members as needed when working on shared duties.
Our ideal candidate will have at least two years of accounting or office experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central preferred but not required. A valid driver’s license and a three-year driving abstract will be required for this position. A 4 - 10 schedule is available for this role.
