Responsibilities:
POSITION SUMMARY
The Planner/Scheduler EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) Administrator (P/S EAM Admin) is responsible for the overall scheduling of work, using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software at a customer site. This position is also responsible for training new Administrators at a regional level; maintaining parts/asset data accuracy and equipment hierarchy in the Infor EAM system; and rolling out standard workflows for work requests, preventive maintenance program, project request, and inspection, etc. The following is a summary of the job responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provides software training to end users (Technicians) and new CMMS Administrators; serves as liaison for problem solving and escalation. Be able to coach and educate staff on the EAM functions and best practices for performing tasks.
- Works with corporate EAM CMMS Administrator to roll out a standard approach to Maintenance Management, Preventive Maintenance (PM) procedures and scheduling; and EAM reports.
- Manages work orders in the system, ensure proper creation, planning, update and closure of work orders.
- Performs regular data analysis on labor booked and recommend software enhancements and process changes.
- Posts metrics on local job board at the site.
- Participates in EAM software implementation projects at regional level
- Schedules all labor for to include: preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, special projects and any other work that is assigned by the customer.
- Updates EAM with absences due to illness, vacation, or other absences.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience of maintenance planning systems either as a planner or an engineer/technician
- High School diploma
- 2 years’ experience planning, scheduling and auditing maintenance activities either as a hands on maintenance planner
- Proficient with Microsoft Projects software.
- Ideally with previous experience of rolling out a new CMMS system

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Higher National Certification/Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or IT
- Experience leading the rollout of a new EAM/CMMS system
- Must be self-driven, organized and be able to work in a fast paced team environment.
- Proven written and verbal communication skills.
