We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Designer Intern to join our dynamic Engineering team. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in the field of Design and Drafting within a leading organization.

- Will learn sheet metal design, coil design, and other sections involved with HVAC equipment
What you will do:
- Create full-scale 3D models using SolidWorks of HVAC components and assemblies
- Understand project requirements from Engineering and Marketing, plan out your project and the parts you need to design and execute your own mini-design project
- Create a summary of the project/s worked on at the end of the summer and present it to management
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year in Mechanical Design schooling using SolidWorks
- Exhibit a basic sense of mechanical aptitude
- Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to using Excel formulas or programming
