AufgabenContinuous Cost Innovation (CCI) is a cross-functional department that's focused on joint material cost reduction for DTNA vehicles from both technical and commercial aspects. With rigorous targets, CCI makes an impact to the bottom line and profitability of the company.

The CCI team works in partnership with Engineering, Purchasing, Finance, Product Validation, Tooling, Marketing and Changeover among many additional areas. We provide a direct understanding of how savings ideas go from creation to implementation on a truck. CCI gives team members access to various levels of management and a learning opportunity for how decisions are made on critical topics. Interested in making a difference? Come join our team!

Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed project timing plans. Monitor progress and performance against the project plan; taking action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays
  • Coordinate and facilitate project-related meetings such as status reviews, design reviews, changeover planning meetings, etc.
  • Assist with and track testing plans for related projects and their trucks
  • Develop management reports and update regularly - KPI’s, dashboards, visual management tools (PowerPoint, Power BI, SharePoint)
  • Recommend and lead implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
  • Prepare material for Operational Leadership Meeting (OLT)
  • Plan and coordinate idea generation events, annual CCI Ceremony, team building events
  • Assist with administrative tasks

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 0-2 years of relevant experience required.
  • Requires basic understanding of theories, practices, and procedures related to any combination of finance, engineering, project coordination, and/or cost control.
  • Ability to work within standardized procedures to meet objectives and deadlines
  • Proficient with use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Work effectively on complex and cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to speak publicly with solid and effective communication

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Familiarity with SharePoint, Power BI or willingness to learn is preferred

  • @hybrid: Number of days at home and at the office will be determined through an ongoing conversation with your Manager. DTNA will ensure that your WFH set-up meets wi-fi / data minimum requirements and sets you up for success. Travel to the office is not reimbursed and employee must live close enough to attend regular in-person collaborative meeting with at least 24-hour notice.
