Due to promotion, we are currently seeking a Sales Account Manager who will support sales activities for the DFA Dairy Brands business in the Grand Rapids metro area. In this role, you will establish senior level business relationships to generate revenue and profit growth with schools, manufacturing, military, and distributors. The skilled sales professional we seek will deliver against KPI's, negotiate, and implement strategies. This position reports to the Director, Sales.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Align DFA Dairy Brands and customer's initiatives to ensure volume and margin growth
- Develop and cultivate new profitable customer relationships and business opportunities
- Communicate to and work with various functional teams to propose and implement solutions to customer challenges
- Strategically build relationships at multiple levels, including Senior level with the customer
- Increase revenue and profitability by selling in new products
- Communicate activity sold to customer through sales execution team
- Deliver annual customer and channel plan for sales and gross margin
- Responsible for customer compliance on terms and payments
- Provide recommendations on RFPs/bids
- Coordinate, communicate, and monitor monthly price changes
- Deliver accurate and timely execution of administrative duties
- High school diploma is required. Bachelor's degree in Business or related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years sales experience, preferably in consumer product goods and foodservice channels
- Ability to demonstrate solid sales track record
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs
- Strong team player who can work across multiple functions and disciplines
